No matter your need, you’ll find the latest orthodontic techniques and products available, making your treatment faster, more comfortable, and more affordable.
State-of-the-art Treatment Options
Dental technology has improved over the years to include new, less conspicuous options to help correct malocclusion, overbite, underbites, crossbites, deep bites, crooked teeth, and other flaws of the teeth jaws.
Times have changed for the better! The days of braces as the only tooth straightening option are gone, and clear aligners give you a fantastic option for that perfect smile you want.
Techniques, materials, and impression-less scanning make clear aligners an amazing choice for children, teens and adults.
Aligners are an excellent choice for improved comfort and aesthetics during treatment. Many musicians, athletes, and patients with compromised teeth that need unique and gentle attention benefit greatly from clear aligners.
RTO is proud to be a Top 1% Diamond Plus Invisalign® provider. This status is the highest proficiency level and certification recognized by Align Technology (the company that makes Invisalign).
This designation places RTO at the pinnacle of clear aligner treatment and separates RTO from 99% of practices in the United States. RTO’s certification as a Top 1% Diamond Plus Provider gives you the confidence that you will achieve the best results possible.
That means you don’t want to receive Invisalign from anyone else!
Clear aligners work by gradually and gently shifting your teeth into place based on the exact movements your orthodontist plans out for you.
Elastic bands can also be used with Invisalign to help to fix your bite. As a result, in many cases, adolescent patients can be treated with Invisalign in addition to adults.
With Invisalign, there are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. This means no broken braces, no emergencies and better oral hygiene.
You pop in a new set of aligners every week until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life.
The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth!
We use braces at RTO to help us align and straighten your teeth in order to improve your appearance and your bite. We might use braces with other orthodontic appliances to help correct your bite.
Self-Ligating Metal Braces
At RTO, we utilize the most technologically advanced self-ligated braces available. Our brackets all have small doors that hold the archwire in place.
This decreases friction, increases comfort, and, most importantly, can decrease your treatment time.
Clear Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces are a popular choice for adults and older teens. Our self-ligating ceramic brackets dramatically improve the appearance of braces.
They‘re made out of a tooth-colored, translucent material that will not stain after eating or drinking.
Other Orthodontic Appliances
Once treatment is complete, a retainer is worn for a period of time, usually just at night. The retainer helps maintain the new smile and also allows for small adjustments if needed once the braces have been removed.
Rapid Palatal Expanders
An upper palatal expander is a common and efficient way to widen a narrow jaw.
Whether the narrow palate was caused by an airway problem, tongue posture, thumb sucking, or genetics, an expander will help the upper jaw grow to the appropriate width by slowly widening the palate.
This also allows for the permanent teeth to erupt safely, relieve crowding and create a wider and more beautiful smile.
Herbst Repositioning Appliance
A Herbst appliance is used when there is a discrepancy between the size of the upper and lower jaws in a growing patient. This appliance helps to create a skeletal change of the lower jaw over time to allow proper alignment and an improved facial profile.
We can care for you with fewer tooth extractions and NO HEADGEAR with the Herbst appliance. Fun fact-both Dr. Steve, Jr. and Dr. Tim were treated with a Herbst appliance when they were in braces!
