Dr. Jay Reichheld
Meet Dr. Jay Reichheld
Dr. Jay came to the world of orthodontics the old-fashioned way—he followed in his father’s footsteps! As a family man, he makes it a priority to create a warm and caring environment that makes you feel like a member of the Reichheld Ting Orthodontics family.
Background & Education
Growing up in Lexington, Dr. Jay attended The Belmont Hill School, where he first became captivated by science and technology.
For undergrad, Dr. Jay went to Colgate University, and he received a degree in biology.
While studying abroad at Colgate, he had the opportunity to examine art and architecture and gain a sense of classic esthetics. Looking back at this experience, it was at this point Dr. Jay recognized the value of combining art, science, and technology — and dentistry has often been said to be a career that unites these studies.
With that knowledge, Dr. Jay attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Graduating with a DMD degree, he attended the Tufts graduate program and received a post-graduate certificate in orthodontics in 1987.
Dr. Jay joined his father’s successful orthodontic practice in Lowell and Lexington. Now, with his brother Dr. Steve, his nephews, Dr. Steve Jr. and Dr. Tim, and Dr. Brian Ting, he continues to care for generations of patients.
It’s a real thrill to see the children or former patients and to continue a legacy of creating beautiful smiles for more than 50 years.
